When Should I Change My Oil?

Consult your owner's manual and one of our service specialists for the specific interval that matches your vehicle and driving habits. Many modern vehicles need an oil change between 5,000 and 7,500 miles or every six months, whichever comes first. If your driving is considered severe, you may need an oil change more often to keep your engine healthy. Some examples of severe driving include driving in heavy traffic, temperature extremes, and towing heavy objects.

Changing your oil is one of the most crucial and regular services your vehicle needs. Since motor oil manages the levels of heat and friction in your engine, neglecting your oil can cause heat and friction to build in your engine to unsafe levels. If left unattended, dirty oil can damage and warp engine components, creating more expensive repairs than if you regularly change your oil.

Do I Need Brake Service?

You may need brake service if your brakes are acting or sounding out of the ordinary or if it has been more than a year since you have serviced your brakes. Brake service is crucial to ensuring your vehicle is safe and performing at its best. Some red flags that indicate you may need brake service include if your brakes make screeching or scraping sounds, the brake pedal feels spongy or less responsive, or you notice longer stopping distances and reduced braking power.

We recommend having professionals check your brakes every six months to catch any developing issues. You may need brake service more often if you brake sharply, frequently tow heavy equipment, or drive in stop-and-go traffic.

When Should I Change My Tires?

We recommend you change your tires to match the road conditions, when your tire tread is low, or when there is damage to your tires. Most tires last for about six years, but the maximum length of time to use your tires is ten years. Tires make all the difference in your traction and stopping distance. Keeping your tires in good condition will help you enjoy more safety and improved performance.

The amount of tread on your tires is one of the most common reasons to change your tires. If your tire tread is less than 2/32s of an inch, it is no longer safe or legal to drive in most states. You can help maintain an even amount of tread between all four tires and maximize your tires' lifespan by rotating your tires every six months or when your owner's manual recommends it.

Does My Battery Need Service?

Your battery may need service if you are having trouble starting your engine, your battery is between four and five years old, or if your lights are dim. Our service team provides comprehensive battery service to help you get the most out of your battery. We can clean cables and connections and test your battery to check its status. We even provide high-quality battery replacements if needed.
